candle care

• never leave a burning candle unattended. always make sure to extinguish your candle when you leave a room + keep the burning candle in plain sight.

• stop use once candle reaches 1/2" of wax remaining. never let your candle burn to the bottom. 

• be sure to not place your burning candle near anything flammable. avoid placing a burning candle near currants, or anything that could blow it out. place burning candles three inches apart from one another.

• keep your candle out of reach from pets + children.

• always trim your wick ¼ in each time in between burns. this helps prevent a high flame + to ensure a proper burn.

• to prevent tunneling, always burn your candles until the wax pool has reached the edge of the container. 

• lit candles are hot. never touch a candle jar while it is lit, and allow sufficient time for a candle to cool off before handling.
